Chestnut Meatballs

2 c Soft bread crumbs
1/2 lb Pork sausage
1/2 lb Ground beef
1 cn (8-oz) water chestnuts; drained; chopped
1 tb Soy sauce
1/4 ts Onion powder
1/2 ts Garlic salt
1/2 c Milk
1 Bottle (16-oz) sweet & sour sauce


Combine all ingredients except sweet & sour sauce. Mix well & shape into 1-inch balls. Place in a greased 13x9x2-inch baking dish & bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Add sauce & mix lightly to coat meatballs. Bake an additional 15 minutes. Yields about 4 dozen meatballs.
