Cheesy-sausage Brunch Special
12 oz Bread; white or egg, sliced
2 1/2 lb Pork sausage; bulk
1/2 oz Green onions, sliced
1 1/2 c Chef-Mate Sharp Cheddar Cheese Sauce; heated
3 c Milk
1 ts Dry Mustard
3/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Black Pepper
Remove crusts from bread. Cut into cubes. Cover bottom of greased 12x10x 2 1/2 inch steam table pan with bread cubes. 2. Brown and crumbled sausage. Drain thoroughly. 3. Layer sausage and green onions over bread cubes. 4. Pour cheese sauce over green onions. 5. Beat eggs. Add milk and seasonings. Pour over mixture in pan. 6. Cover and refrigerate 12 hours or overnight. 7. Bake in preheated 350F oven 1 hour 15 minutes or until set. Cut into 3 inch squares. Serve.
Makes 12 servings.
