1 tb Butter
1 md Onion; chopped
1/2 c Chopped celery
1/2 c Chopped green bell pepper
2 Cloves garlic; minced
3 sl Firm white bread
1/3 c Milk
1 1/2 lb Ground beef round or chuck
1/2 lb Ground pork or veal
1 Egg; beaten
1 ts Ground cumin
1/2 ts Cayenne pepper
1 ts Salt
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
2 tb Ketchup
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a small frying pan melt butter; add onion, celery, green pepper and garlic. Cool until wilted.
In a small bowl soak bread in milk and bread into crumbs.
In a large bowl place meats, vegetable mixture, bread with milk and remaining ingredients. Mix well and shape into a loaf.
Place loaf in shallow pan, bake one hour; serve.
