Nine-spice Chorizo Sausage

1 lb Ground pork
2 tb Apple cider vinegar
2 tb Water
1 tb Vegetable oil
1 ea Garlic clove, minced
1 tb Paprika
1 1/2 ts Chili powder
1/2 ts Dried oregano
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
1/4 ts Ground cloves
1/4 ts Ground cumin
1 1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Black pepper


In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients; mix until thoroughly combined. Cover and chill for 3 to 4 hours. Divide the mixture into 6 equal !/2-inch-thick patties. Cook in a large nonstick skillet over low heat for 6 to 8 minutes, or until no pink rema NOTE: Chilling the raw meat mixture for a few hours before cooking allows it to absorb the seasonings more thoroughly, giving your finished sausage patties really rich flavor.
