Holiday Breakfast Strada

1 lb Ground pork sausage
6 sl White bread; crusts removed
2 c Shredded Swiss cheese
1 1/2 c Milk
3 Eggs; lightly beaten
1/2 ts Worcestershire sauce
1/8 ts Salt; pepper and nutmeg


Brown sausage, stirring to crumble and drain well on paper towels. Fit bread into 11x7-inch baking dish. Top with sausage. Sprinkle with cheese. Combine milk, Worcestershire sauce and spices. Mix well and pour over bread mixture. Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until set. Yield: 6 servings.
