Italian Meatballs

1 lb Ground chuck
1 lb Ground pork
2 cl Garlic, minced
6 T Onion, minced
1/2 c Milk
3 c Italian bread crumbs
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
2 T Parsley, chopped
1/2 c Parmesan cheese, grated
2 Eggs, slightly beaten


Combine all ingredients. Take a tablespoon size portion at a time and roll into a ball. Brown thoroughly in a non-stick skillet until cooked through. Drain on paper towels and serve with your favorite pasta sauce, or - Place cooked meatballs in a casserole dish. In a medium saucepan, combine one 12-oz. jar chili sauce with 1/8 cup grape jelly (no foolin') and heat til jelly melts. Pour over meatballs and bake at 350-degrees for 30 minutes or til sauce bubbles. Serve with rice or noodles and steamed veggies. The glazed meatballs reheat nicely if you want to make them up ahead.
