1 lb. cubed pork
2 c. diagonally sliced celery (1/2 inch slices)
1 med. onion, sliced
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
3 tbsp. corn starch
3 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. Teriyaki sauce
1 (16 oz.) can chow mein rinsed and drained
1 (8 1/2 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and sliced
1/2 tsp. ginger
Optional: 1 tsp. sugar or 1 pkg. Equal
Combine meat, celery, onion and mushrooms in a 2 quart casserole. Cover. Microwave 4 to 6 minutes on high or until meat is set. Dissolve corn starch in soy sauce. Stir into meat mixture. Mix in chow mein vegetables, water chestnuts, water and ginger. Cover. Microwave 4 to 5 minutes on high or until vegetables are tender crisp. Stir in Teriyaki sauce. Serve with Chinese noodles or rice.
