Baked Lasagne (Traditional)
8 oz Lasagna noodles
1 lb Ground beef, Italian sausage or Pork sausage
1/4 c Onion, finely chopped
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Garlic salt
32 oz Spaghetti sauce
15 oz Ricotta dry curd or drained cottage cheese
3/4 lb Mozzarella cheese, cubed or shredded
1/4 c Romano cheese
Cook lasagne according to package direction. In large skillet, saute meat, onion, salt and garlic salt; drain off excess fat. Add spaghetti sauce. Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer 15-20 minutes. In greased 9 X 13 inch baking pan, layer 3 strips of lasagne, lengthwise, spread on 1/3 meat sauce, 1/3 dry curd (or cottage cheese), and 1/3 Mozzarella. Repeat layering process twice, sprinkle Romano cheese on top. Bake 350 degree F oven for 35-40 minutes. Let set 10 minutes before cutting.
