Pork Chops Italiano

4 Pork chops
1 cn (small) of tomato sauce
4 sl Mozzarella cheese
Herbs (we use oregano, basil, italian seasoning and parsley)

Brown the porkchops in a skillet. Add the tomato sauce (I usually dilute this a little with water to make more sauce). Sprinkle on the herbs. Just before the pork chops are done (maybe 15 minutes depending on kind of chop) put a slice of cheese on each chop. Put on the lid and turn off the heat. Let the cheese melt.

You may have to "baste" the pork chops with the sauce to keep them covered with sauce. We usually serve these with alfredo noodles or butter noodles (Lipton kind in a package- they are very good) and peas.
