Ham and Egg Brunch

8 slices bread, cubed
1 1/2 c. cubed ham
1 1/2 c. cubed cheese (Cheddar or Colby)
6 eggs
3 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
1 c. bread or cereal crumbs


Into greased 9 x 13 pan layer half the bread, half the cheese and ham. Repeat all layers. Over this pour the beaten eggs, to which the milk, salt and mustard have been added. Cover pan with foil and refrigerate overnight. The next day bring to room temperature and pour the melted butter over all. Sprinkle the crumbs over. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour. Uncover for last half hour.
