Pancit Bihon (Philino Casserole Dish)

1/4 cup cooking oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, minced
1 cup boiled pork, sliced thinly (chicken or Shrimp can be substituted)
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup celery, thinly sliced
1 package rice sticks (Oriental)
1 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 cup tiny carrot strips
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. salt
2 hard boiled eggs, halved


Brown garlic in cooking oil. Add onions, pork carrots and cabbage. Season with soy sauce and toss for 2 minutes. Add broth and simmer. Add celery. Toss with rice sticks. Toss until rice sticks are soaked completely. Season with salt. Serve on a platter and garnish with eggs.
