Jambalaya

1 large onion, chopped
1 large bell pepper, chunked
5 long green hot peppers, minced
1 1/2 lbs. Hillshire sausage, sliced
2 lbs. raw Shrimp, cleaned
1 1/2 lbs. cooked ham, chunked
Salt, pepper, red and black to taste


Saute onions and pepper in 2 tablespoons butter. Add sausage and ham. Saute 3-5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Stir and bring to boil Reduce heat to simmer and cook 30-40 minutes. Can be cooked in large Dutch oven at 325 F. Serves 8-10. Freezes well. Good with tossed salad and French bread.
