3 to 4 Lbs. country style spare ribs (or regular spare ribs)
1 large onion, sliced
2 T. vinegar
2 T. worcestershire sauce
1/2 t. salt dash of pepper
1 t. paprika
1 t. chili powder
1/4 t. ground nutmeg
3/4 C. water
3/4 C. catsup
Crockpot: Layer ribs and onion in crockpot. Pour sauce over ribs (after mixing up sauce). Cook on low for 8-10 hours. or Oven cooking: Place onion slices on top of meat in 9 by 12 baking dish. Mix sauce ingredients. Pour over ribs. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours. Uncover, baste, then continue baking for an addional 30 minutes.
