Cheesy Tenderlean Pork Chops with Rice

4 Tenderlean Pork Chops
1 Dessert apple; peeled, cored and grated
50 g Edam cheese; grated (2oz)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Apple slices; to garnish
250 g Cooked rice; to serve (8oz)


Trim the fat from the chops and place them under a preheated moderate grill for approximately 8 minutes, turning once, until browned.

Mix the apple, cheese and seasoning to taste. Place a spoonful of the mixture on top of each chop and return to the grill for 5 minutes, until the cheese melts.

Garnish with apple slices and serve with cooked rice.
