Apple Roast Ham 10 lb Smoked ham half; bone-in, in natural juice
1 tb Grated orange rind
6 Whole cloves
2 c Apple cider
1/4 c Brown sugar; packed
Preheat 12-Qt. Roaster oven to 350 degrees F.
Lightly spray Cookwell with spray cooking oil. Place ham in preheated
Cookwell. Add cider, sugar, orange rind and cloves. Cover; roast 4 to 5
hours (170 degrees F. on meat thermometer).
To slow cook:
Roast at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour. Reduce temperature to 300 degrees F.
and slow roast 5 to 6 hours (170 degrees F. on meat thermometer).
Serves 6 to 8.
