Western Roast Pork 4 lb Pork loin roast
Cloves to taste
2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Pepper
2 c Cider
Flour
3/4 c Chicken broth or water
Score fat on roast; stud with cloves. Combine 1 teasp[oon salt and
1/4 teaspoon pepper; sprinkle roast with seasonings. Place in baking
pan. Bake at 350 degrees allowing 35 minutes per pound. Baste
occasionally with cider. Remove roast to warm serving dish. Drain
fat from pan. Add small amount of flour to pan drippings. Blend well.
Stir in broth; cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add
