Lithuanian Sausages

Hog casings
10 lb Fresh pork shoulder
2 lb Onions
1 tb Pepper
1 tb Allspice
1/2 c Salt

Chop onions and cook in small amount of fat until transparent. Cut meat in small pieces or put through food chopper on coarse grind. Mix all other ingredients, including fat from onions to blend flavors with meat. Wash casings and stuff meat mixture in them. Boil in water for 1 hour. To reheat, brown in frying pan or bake in oven.

Note: Onions may be boiled in about 2 cups water instead of fried and onions and liquid can be added to meat mixture.
