Pork Chops and Rice

6 Pork chops
Flour and salt
Oil
1 md Onion; chopped
1 tb Butter
1 cn (4-oz) sliced mushrooms
1 c Raw rice
1 cn (13.75-oz) beef consomme


Flour and salt pork chops; brown in oil. Saute onion in butter. Add mushrooms. Place rice in casserole; top with onions and mushrooms. Place pork chops on top. Pour consomme and small amount of water over all. Cover tightly and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
