Dixie Pork Chops

8 Pork chops
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Sage
4 Tart apples; cored & cut in rings
1/4 c Brown sugar
2 tb Flour
1 c Hot water
1 tb Vinegar
1/2 c Raisins


Brown chops in hot fat; sprinkle with salt and sage. Place in baking dish; top with apple rings; sprinkle with sugar. Add flour to fat in skillet; blend. Add water and vinegar; cook till thick. Add raisins; pour over chops. Cover baking dish. Bake in 350 degree oven 1 hour.
