Pork and Peaches Combo

6 thick pork chops
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup peach preserves
1 (81/2-oz. ) can peach slices in juice, drained, but reserving 1/3 cup liquid
Extra peaches, fresh or canned for garnish

In a large skillet, brown pork chops in oil over medium heat. Remove and baste each side with peach preserves and place in slow cooker.

Add canned peaches and 1/3 cup reserved peach juice.

Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours and remove to platter. Garnish with extra peach slices for added color. Serve with rice.
