Pork Or Beef Sandwich Filling

1 1/2 pounds beef stew meat -- cubed
1 1/2 pounds pork -- cubed
2 cups chopped onions
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 cup vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 6 oz can tomato paste
16 sandwich buns

In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients except the buns. Cook on low setting for 8-10 hours or until meat if tender. Stir with fork to break up pieces. Serve on buns.
